Katherine Heigl ready to adopt

The beautiful blond Knocked up and Grey´s Anatomy star said in a recent interview she has been dreaming of being a mom since she was a little girl and that she and her husband of two years, musician Josh Kelly, are considering adopting.

“I would really like to be a mother. I’ve always wanted to have children. From the time I was old enough to understand the concept I wanted a baby. So we will get there but I don’t want to give up my career. And I don’t want him to. I want to be able to have it all, but what does that mean?”

Katherine´s sister Meg was adopted from Korea in the 70´s and Katherine would really like to adopt herself:  ”I just grew up that way and she’s one of my bestest friends and she’s my sister too and I just felt like I kind of want that in my family too.”

So maybe Heigle will be sharing teething tips with Grey´s Anatomy colleague Ellen Pompeo, who is expecting her first baby later this year,  soon?

Is it me or are celebrities these days more likely to get twins? Anyway, Pretty in pink and, more recently, Secret Life of an American Teenager star Molly Ringwald and her husband are the proud new parents of daughter Adele Georgiana and son Roman Stylianos!
That makes three in all, because the couple already has a daughter, Mathilda Ereni, aged 5.

90210 will have a new student in a few years!
Beverly Hills 90210 alum Jason Priestley has been very secretive about the pregnancy of his wife of four years, but we now know he has a bouncing baby boy.

The baby is the new brother of Priestley’s two year old daughter Ava.

Actually, I think it´s kinda sweet: Spiderman calling his son after himself. Its family, it´s tradition, it´s cute. Tobey called his son, born eight weeks ago, Otis Tobias.

Not sure either of these names would thrill me if I were a little boy, as they both sound like elderly Southeners, but still, he could have gotten stuck with Fifi Trixiebelle….

Do I hear “Awwwww” anywhere? The first picture of Sex and the city star SJP and hubby Matthew Broderick ´s twin baby girls was released.

The girls are called Marion Loretta Elwell and Tabitha Hodge Broderick (“Hodge”? Seriously?). I kinda like Marion Loretta though. Sounds safe and homely.

Twin baby girls for SJP

Sex and the city actress Sarah Jessica Parker and hubby Matthew Broderick have two new baby girls!

Their surrogate gave birth to the twins at East Ohio´s Regional Hospital yesterday and everybody is doing great! And they´re “thrilled” of course….

SJP said “One really would have been thrilling and we would’ve felt incredibly lucky. And two was a comedy!”
The couple already has a son, six year old James Wilkie.

Katie Holmes expecting another baby?

It may simply have been a bloaty day or an unfortunate angle, but some are saying the lovely mrs. Cruise is about to give Suri a little brother or sister.

Of course there has been no comment from either Tom Cruise or Katie Holmes´”people” (do you reckon Suri Cruise has her own people? Bet she does). If she is expecting, I bet it´ll be another gorgeous baby.

There´s been so much ado about this baby I thought it had been born twice over already, but Kelly Rutherford, who plays  Serena´s mom on Gossip Girl, gave birth to a baby girl Helena last night.

The Gossip Girl star has been embroiled in a big custody case over her two year old son Hermes with ex-hubby and also father of her second child German business man Daniel Giersch.

Dreamgirls Jennifer Hudson pregnant

Dreamgirls actress Jennifer Hudson and her fiance David Otunga are expecting their first child.

The actress had a quiet baby shower last weekend in her native Chicago. When her friend and singer Felicia Fields was asked by the Chicago Tribune whether the gifts were blue or pink she answered: “They don’t know [the gender]. More yellow.”

Gisele Bundchen pregnant?

Gisele Bundchen sure isn´t looking pregnant yet, if that´s anything to go by! Boyfriend Tom Brady has been vehemently denying that the couple are expecting their first child.

He would, because they´ve been together for about five seconds, after Tom ran out on his beautiful, very pregnant wife, Californication actress Bridget Moynahan (am I the only one who always has to google that name, twice, just to get it right?!) to be with his supermodel.

It´s wonderful gossip fodder: Gisele has told reporters that she considers the baby Bridget had with (or rather without) Tom as “my child” which allegedly left Bridget fuming. So is Gisele now expecting one of her own? Tom told reporters “No” and added “One is enough” which would put paid to that rumor, if only we didn´t all know how this works: you wait til the first three months are up and then everyone involved is “thrilled”.

Well, maybe not Bridget.
