Katherine Heigl ready to adopt
The beautiful blond Knocked up and Grey´s Anatomy star said in a recent interview she has been dreaming of being a mom since she was a little girl and that she and her husband of two years, musician Josh Kelly, are considering adopting.
“I would really like to be a mother. I’ve always wanted to have children. From the time I was old enough to understand the concept I wanted a baby. So we will get there but I don’t want to give up my career. And I don’t want him to. I want to be able to have it all, but what does that mean?”
Katherine´s sister Meg was adopted from Korea in the 70´s and Katherine would really like to adopt herself: ”I just grew up that way and she’s one of my bestest friends and she’s my sister too and I just felt like I kind of want that in my family too.”
So maybe Heigle will be sharing teething tips with Grey´s Anatomy colleague Ellen Pompeo, who is expecting her first baby later this year, soon?
